What we process and why

We store your Google account identifier, verified email, name, session records, consent records, private and shared conversations, and AI-generated notes to provide the service. Relationship discussions may include sensitive information. Avoid unnecessary identifying details about other people.

Our backend and configured AI provider process chat content to generate replies. Encryption at rest does not prevent necessary service processing. Private content is not automatically shared with your partner or included in admin dashboards.

Operational monitoring

Admins can see sign-in and message activity, conversation counts, model names, tokens, estimated costs, request timing and failures. These records contain no chat text. We do not send chat transcripts to Grafana and do not run automatic tone scoring.

Optional quality review

Only the feedback or fixed excerpts you explicitly submit enter the review workflow. You can also explicitly offer product feedback to the mediator in private chat; it saves just that feedback for beta admins, without attaching the surrounding conversation. Shared excerpts stay hidden from admins until both participants approve the exact selection. You may decline without losing beta access, and withdraw from Feedback & review at any time. Withdrawal removes the live copy and prevents future review; it cannot undo someone’s past reading. Submissions may inform prompt and product improvements, but are not used for model training.

Retention and deletion

Deleting a chat removes your access after confirmation. Other participants retain their own history, including messages you shared. Stored conversation data is removed once all participants delete their copies. Feedback and review content expires after 90 days; activity and usage records are retained for 90 days, and audit and submission-consent metadata for one year. Expiry runs hourly. Session expiry does not delete history. Deletion includes applicable version history; protected backups need a separate expiration process, so requests are not instantly completed. Shared-record deletion must respect each participant’s rights.

Your choices and rights

Contact the operator to request access, correction, export or deletion, raise a privacy concern, or exercise other applicable rights. Where GDPR applies, you can complain to your relevant supervisory authority. Review consent is optional and revocable. Only necessary session cookies are used; this release has no advertising analytics.
